If you've failed a test, you're not alone. You're in good company, because we've all failed at things in our lives. It doesn't mean you're not capable of the math. Failing a math test does not define you or your whole math experience.
Have you ever failed a test? What advice would you give to someone?

great advice
You failed a test? no
😍😂
It be like dat sometimes
First..?
*Am I famous now?* EDIT seems like I failed with being first.. Heh..
i like to look at failed tests as lessons in learning to deal with failure. it sucks, but things in life will suck, so it’s better to learn to deal with it in a healthy way, early
nancy stop lying we know you skipped high school and went straight to MIT
@Arthur Hernandez I mean that’s everywhere else too, people are the ones who wrote everything.
@Shaolin -sh Ye. Ya need parent support but ya.
My friend got a free ride to MIT but he had to pass HS
@Mx Alm Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Wait I also want to skip my high school
But I don’t know if it’s possible or not in my country
Love ya Nancy! You save me through high school courses and still save me through college pre-requisites today. Never forget that you continue to help people just like me to not fail tests and have to pull out the calculator to figure out how the minimum score needed to pass the course 😛 and I am forever grateful 😀
This is helpful. Thank you
Hi Nancy ✋
Nice video. Failure is a lesson, a powerful lesson.
No way❗❗welp just give up 🤷🏽♂️😂
Keep up the great contributions.
Hey! You’re back!! 💕
It turns out the marker couldn’t read Nancy’s handwriting, because it was all reversed.
HAHAHAHA
lmao
Trigonometry for AS and A and Fsc level
Watch and subscribe
It’s not really reversed. Its because its a 4 dimensional video camera filming her.
How do you recommend revising two years worth of maths content for exams in 3 months :/
cadkls if you’re trying to be civil then what’s the point of posting a comment of 0 value? you don’t know my situation at all, your inference of my comment was wrong, by revise i mainly meant prepare.
@Tami Then why not state that clearly? Words have meanings. If you use the correct ones, the correct meanings will come across. I don’t see why you have such an attitude towards me.
There’s literally no reason to get hostile. It’s just immature.
Like I said before, if you have revised properly, then you shouldn’t have anything to worry about will you?
cadkls I really don’t think you know the definition of revise, it means to prepare for an exam??? I’m not special in needing to revise? I asked for any recommendations in how I should approach it, now in the present not two years ago, which is clear unless you intended on being very condescending and trying to seem like you’re above being less than perfect. I have revised through out the two years but I shouldn’t have to explain that to you as evidently many people have received my comment exactly how I meant it, so that leads me to believe the problem is with you. Your initial ‘recommendation’ and continuing comments are useless. You have nothing to add except in putting others people down. Good luck in life, you’re gonna need it.
@Tami Can you explain to me the need to be so hostile? All I did was point out that you have nothing to worry about. If you think I believe I’m better than everyone else, can you elaborate on that? I don’t quite understand. The others are being nice. I’m just being truthful.
It’s usually the truthful ones that get negative reactions.
I do sincerely hope you rid yourself of your anger and hate, but good luck with your exams. See how easy it is to just be nice?
If you chose to take my comment as putting you down, then I can’t help but feel sorry for you and I hope you don’t carry this paranoia and insecurity with you in the future. Have a nice rest of your day!
Trust me, 3 months should be more than enough time. I just recently managed to cram the entire Calculus 1 material in a day for the final which brought my grade from a B to an A. If I can do it, you can too! You’ll be fine as long as you’re not a procrastinator who waits until the last minute like me.
It’s really good to hear you open up about this, Nancy. It’s easy for viewers to look at an accomplished person like yourself, and assume it all comes without effort and without errors.
Are you irritating with her smelly underarms??
Hi Nancy! Missed you! I liked this “vlog like” video. Thanks for sharing your story.
Thank you Nancy, this helps.
If you don’t fail, then how would you know if you succeed. 🙂👍
I love this video. Tests can be scary sometimes 😂
I failed an economics test. Aced the hw assignments. But, were horrible at test. Oddly I did well on the midterms and final
Ur Like The Taylor Swift of math!
IF ONLY THERE’S A WAY TO TURN OFF THE SUBTITLE? CAUSE I LIKE TO LOOK AT THAT BLACK BRA THAT IS QUITE VISIBLE BEHIND HER PURPLE TOP.
We like you! Thanks for keeping it real!
been there kinda in that rn
Are you saying i should skip watching my TV shows to study math??
How dare she?
Martin Pettersson Fuck that shit amiright?
u should do a video on probability next
I’ve failed an entire class. Repeat delete made it all go away.
Been there, done that. It sucks when you study your hardest and still get a bad grade lol
Its mostly because of shitty professors right?
Omar Obando That’s gotta be one of the worst feelings for sure
Welcome to my life
This video is a coincidence because I just got a 41% on a calc 2 test.😬
Man Im so happy I got a 49 and i felt so horrible but y’all here suffering with me ❤️🙏🏼 just took the next exam today hope this ones much better lol
oof
calculus is hell
I got 2 on a 30 item quiz fuck
I got a 56 on my Calculus test 😂
This is one of those “Michael Jordan got cut from his high school basketball team” stories
lol
One time I got 0% on a multiple choice quiz out of 20 questions.
I did great! 😀
lol 0%, those are rookie numbers. try -50%
@Blox117 No 0 is the best you could ever get
Actually never mind -0 is even better
@T B 😂😂😂
Mee too…
oof sat is very soon for me wish me luck!!!!
Jesus Christ you’re hot.
You have the thirst
Being respectful and not blasphemous is a much better way to show appreciation for a woman, just to help you out 😉
@Kalyn C It’s disrespectful to say thst someone is appealing to the eyes? I sincerely hope you’ve never said that anyone is attractive otherwise you’d be a hypocrite. Luckily you’ve never done that though, I’m sure…
cadkls The way you said it is respectful and acceptable. Being blasphemous and immediately indicating sexual attraction, however, is not what girls want to hear. I think Nancy and all girls deserve a little better than that.
@Kalyn C I’d love to be called hot. Also, blasphemous? Really lol? Gonna being sky daddy into this?
approximating polynomials pls
Great segue for Nancy Pi stats videos! Please!
everyone fails though
what high school program did u do?
😕 same feeling horrible.
I hate it when I turn in a test thinking I got an A and I get a D+
oh I used to walk out of tests thinking “this will be so high… I totally nailed this” and then yeah… test back c-….d+ or something… i’m like “whaaaat?” I studied like like a forensic scientist and understood every concept…. every question…. mind was instantly onto the problem…. like it couldn’t get any smoother…. then realised teachers can sometimes hate certain students… rip future.
@TolisOGTV exactly… can’t fail a test if the scores mean nothing to your brain… (taps head)
Secondary High Schools ALL over the World and The United States of America Grades 9 to Grade 12 Graduation are marked from “”0% to 100%, your Mark out of 100%, whatever that lower Mark will be””. A to D+ , or Marking from A to F– is Elementary Schools Grades 1 to 6, and Senior Schools Grades 7 and 8 Only , All the way around the World!!!!…..
You did get a + tho
IKR ITS THE WORST! it happened to me on precalc 2
Nancy, thank you for your honesty. Yeah, everyone failed sometime in his/her life, and you are not an exception. Failure is the source of success providing you’ve learned from it. You are so intelligent that you skipped HS and went to MIT(per the post below); which is a very prestigeous college, one of the best.
You have guided so many students to like math. You’ve shown different methods on how to approach and solve a certain math problem; which is very beneficial to us.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Statics midterm tomorrow, wish me luck
π no es la relación perímetro diámetro pues una circunferencia no es un polígono regular
el radián está a 56.25 grados
Any differential equations vids in the can?????
una línea curva no es una linea recta ni está compuesta de rectas
Nancy you’re so hot we know you never failed stop lying
badminton lover guy I said she’s hot not are you single
Guys she lieing, the moment she was born, she was accepted to MIT school, she never failed a test and it will continue like that until the dawn of time. (Lol jk) this video is inspiring, because it even let us know people who we think are perfect has had a flaw or been in same boat as someone like friends for example.
We learn from failure not from success
Lol I just took a test and I’m pretty sure it’ll be my lowest grade in that class
I’m shocked I tell you, simply shocked. I failed a test once too, Statics for Engineering. I was totally unprepared and it left me dumbfounded, mind boggled, overwhelmed, and feeling very stupid.
Rusty Highlander I failed statics too. The resit exam last January was really screwed up and our professor changed the format of the questions at the last minute so it affected our performance. Fortunately I passed that horrible resit.
On another note, I just failed my Matlab exam. Plus the resit too. I’m screwed. In my university, if you fail one subject, you get no credits for the entire term.
I failed calc 2..retook the class and passed with a B…failed calc 3 final but still passed the class..now in DE and passed 1st exam ..82%…still terrified of what’s to come…😵
Hi Nancy. My math 👑
come back fast
I’m from east europe.
Can’t relate.
Thank you for being so helpful Nancy! ❤
I failed AS level economics in the UK as well.
Economics is pseudoscience. Don’t feel bad you got a bad grade in that farce-of-a-class. That’s like getting a bad grade in gym. (To appreciate WHY economics, as it’s currently taught, is pseudoscience, read “Wealth, Virtual Wealth and Debt” by Nobel prize-winner Frederick Soddy. The reality is: Economics is a soft science trying to pass itself off as a hard science. So, of recent years, they’ve been trying to look more “math-y” and cramming dubious formulas and models into it to try and give it the appearance of physics. But it’s all a front. Check out the classical economist Alfred Marshall: a giant in his field, and contemptuous of the attempts of some to try and engage in this masquerade. Most economists are like a stupid person who tries to look smart by using big words as a smokescreen to hide the utter vacuousness of his ideas. Many economists (and economic courses) do the same thing with models and formulas. But scratch the surface, and it’s smoke and mirrors. Most people graduating with economics degrees haven’t read a single classical economist, nor have they ever been taught the basics: Like what is money. Or where did money come from. They’re stunningly uneducated.
A lot of econ is jargon jargon more jargon, memorization but the math doesn’t lie. Which economics are you talking about? Micro…Macro?
@pspmaster2071 The math DOES lie. It’s why jokes like this exist: “When you ask an economist for his telephone number, he usually can’t remember, but will say, ‘Let me give you an estimate.'” If you read the book “Thinking In Systems,” by Donella Meadows, she explains why large systems (like economies) are too big to be successfully “managed”. Meadows is part of the Cybernetics crowd. (They specialize in systems theory.) One of their leading lights [a man named Stafford Beer] described various systems. Economies are listed under his “Exceedingly Complex Systems” categories. No modern fed economist has a handle on the trillions of transactions that take place every day. It’s why none of them called the 2008 financial crash. (They’re incompetent.) But throw enough math-y looking formulas at normies and their eyes glaze over, and, hypnotized by the wizardry, they assume that the average economist isn’t a con-man. (In fact, he is.) When Frederick Soddy did his analysis of the field of economics, he called it a pseudo-science. Soddy, by the way, won the Nobel prize in physics for co-discovering isotopes. When he turned his attention toward economics, he was shocked at how incoherent it was. For instance, assets are subject to the laws of physics, while debt is subject to the laws of mathematics. What he meant by this is that a real asset (say, wheat) will rot in a silo, if left long enough. It’s subject to the laws of entropy. As is another asset, like your house. It will rot away. Debt, however, is not subject to the law of entropy and (thanks to the rule of compound interest) will accrue exponentially, into infinity. This slapped-together system was the very definition of pseudo-science to Soddy. None of the metrics matched up. There was no coherent standard or methodology to any of it. He showed, in his 1920 book “Wealth, Virtual Wealth and Debt,” that the current supply-and-demand mechanisms for price discovery were witchdoctory. (He proposed valuing objects by the amount of energy it required to make them.)
In our current system, a Beatles lunch box is more valued than, say, an original copy of the U.S. Constitution. (Supply and demand makes stupidities very valuable, and renders important objects negligible.) It’s a topsy-turvy system. Soddy said that we should price things based on their energy footprint. Soddy would have been mortified by a T-shirt from a Vietnamese sweatshop that consumed massive amounts of energy [from slave labor, to the oil on the tanker that traveled half-way round the planet). Such a T-shirt in his pricing system would be $52. Whereas a T-shirt made in a factory up the street would be 30 cents. (We have this exactly backward, with the Third World item priced cheaper than the domestic product.) We use tariffs and taxation to manipulate the system and throw everything off.
We saw this with high fructose corn syrup. Internationally, everyone else still used sugar cane. Why? Because sugar cane was actually cheaper. Corn was more expensive. But because the U.S. government started giving subsidies to corn farmers, they ARTIFICIALLY made it cheaper. So companies started putting it in everything.
Governments interfere with economies in damaging ways like this. They make a Japanese car (made halfway around the world) cheaper than a car built up the street from your house.
In reality, though, that Japanese car has a vastly larger energy footprint. It should be TWICE as expensive as the locally-made car.
But thanks to interference and manipulation up is down and black is white.
We have a surprisingly inefficient economic system. And shockingly archaic ways of tracking the data.
@Daniel Natal I see where you are coming from but I didn’t say everything in econ was perfect or that even everything should be given as much attention. Like the made up unit of “utils” for example which just seems unneccesary. Also it is true some econ taught today is bullshit that will wreck everything.
I would like to say though that even though you cant perfectly run a country, because people are people and unexpected events may occur, a sound economic system will lead to better outcomes. Some economic models are just true. Some things do lead to typical outcomes especially when applied to large numbers of people. Something applied to an individual will give variable results but applied to large groups of people give constant results. Some economic systems work better than others and the only reason why some don’t work is because humans exploit things and remove protections in laws.
Overall better systems lead to more favorable results not perfect ones. And criminals were connected with the 08 financial crisis… It wasnt just incompetence. Problem is with those people not economics in general.
Please make a math video on differential topics because I didn’t not do well on the first exam. Please topics are 2.1 liner equation, 2.2 separable equation, 2.3 modeling with first order equation which is word problems, 2.6 exact equation, 3.1 homogeneous equation with constant coefficient, 3.2 solution of linear homogeneous equation.
Please please please, please make the videos soon so I can do well on my next exam.
College profs are the dumbest teachers because they don’t need to know how to teach but instead are tested on how well they know the subject
Yup
ربنا يستحقك – You are delivering a wonderful message to the mathematics of mathematics and I am benefiting from your tender – God is good and we want to see you always active and we follow you on the Facebook page –
Thanks to partial credit, I got a 71% on my first calc2 exam that I expected not to get any higher than 50% lol
Update: ….i got a 41% on the physics exam tho lol
ok 1) yes I feel slightly better that you to, have failed a test BUT 2) it FREAKS me out that it was an economics test!!! I just found out I need to take macro AND micro and was freaked out BEFORE watching your video and now….. eek!!
Failing a test doesn’t mean you’re incapable. Usually it just means you didn’t study/practice enough. It can be hard getting used to spending more time studying as the classes get tougher, but you just gotta do it and there’s nothing else to it lol
Oh wait. So it’s not about your pregnancy test
Nobody’s prefect.
I salute your courage! It takes real guts to come out like that. You have helped thousands with their studies, me included and I for one am very grateful…Nil illegitimas carborundrum!
When it hits a little too close to home… 😂
I tried to convince my teacher to round my 26% into 96%
@Blox117 At least your math is attractive😂
@Blox117 68 wouldve been more appropriate. 68 symbolizes “You do me once and Ill owe you one”
@Joshua Gardner lol!
When you manage to to it: SPEECH 100
@Blox117 oml 🤣🤣🤣
Such a reassuring video
Lol i failed half of my math tests. Resit wednesday! Wish me luck
Haha its ok, goodluck!
You’re so freakin adorable. Hope you don’t mind me saying. Looking forward to more maths videos. I’m not British, I just like to say “Maths” because I think it sounds funny.
To bad when I fail all my Algebra tests in college I get punished and lose Financial aid get put on academic probation and I actually try super hard to pass the system is unfair
Wait what? 😮
😍
❤
4.0 gpa halfway through my first semester then boom it became 2.9 after finals.
Thanks for sharing this video, makes me feel better.😊
I really like this video about failing. I am super into math and yet I struggle constantly. I failed Calc 1 the first go and then passed with B the second go around. The first calc class was super challenging. I remember every exam I would spend the first 15 min panicking and sweating because I wasn’t sure how I was going to even begin. I would debate with myself if I should just walk out of the room or at least try to make something work out. What I decided to do was to stick it out through whole semester and take the F. Then the next semester It was all review and much easier to understand. I learned that failing is a good thing and very humbling. Lets hear more stories of failing and then succeeding.
Right here buddy, ive failed a class but its physics.
Love this video! Your edits are dope and it feels like your personality is showing more in this one!
I think I’m special after seeing ur video i have failed o level like 8 times yep I’m definitely special u can laugh about it now cuz i have 2 bachelors degree lol
Have you ever thought about posting videos related to differential equations and/or linear algebra??
I made a 36% on my physics test a couple weeks ago.
Im struggling in physics myself as well. Lets not give up and push through and just hope for the best
Thank you sir, i still after physics one need to take 2 and 3
Thank God (not that you failed but someone else feels this way) because I’ve been worrying about my Calc II test…
Some football (soccer) players fail a penalty…Let´s have a tea and forget about it.
Love you Nancy ❤️
same… ly for sharing… thanks to u im acing AP calc now… i used to get test scores… like… below 60… and now I’m getting above 90 and I’m like… 🥴 damn
nice where are you Nancy ? we miss you
Failed first Calc 2 test now I feel like crying, going through the phases you just said in video.
Tigers king what area did u struggle on the most
This would’ve been better if you had told other tests you’ve failed (I know you didn’t just failed one test in high school, specially if you went to MIT) I don’t think a lot of people will indefntify with this or feel relief because it just sounds like you failed that and continued to be perfect
Lmao but know I imagine what score u would get now😂
This came at the perfect time bc I just failed my first calc 2 exam hard, bc life.
I’m using this as motivation to do well on the next. Pls make more upper level calc videos I hate integrals and series are next thx 😘
You should make more of these kind of vids i like em
she should make more videos. period!
Are you going to do any economics videos? Lol
Fail so what!!!!!! Warren Buffet says that business is easy to understand….he calls it being nice to customers “Customer Service” all but the final answer… It all you really need to know!!! Need some real Tests …you should try some nasty customers…….they are not ture customers!!!!!!! The customers are not allways right!!!!
Nancy! Thank you so much for this video! Omg it’s so reassuring to know that sometimes, even if you consider yourself “smart” failing is a possibility. I’m currently a high school student enrolled in the IB and I found it hilarious how the test you failed was Econ when currently that’s my weakest subject and I feel you! It has gotten better though, and THANK YOU so much for sharing this video.
(P.S. I’ve been subscribed to your channel since 7th grade when I RELIED on your videos because I was in a gifted, accelerated math program that was very difficult all throughout middle school but I’m not kidding when I say that your tutorials allowed me to pass my tests with flying colours and the highest average in the class!!!!)
Thanks for sharing! We’ve all been there, even us math nerds 🤓
Oh that wonderful treat called Humble Pie! 🙂
this makes me feel worse im sad
also failed at economics here, legit had 0 interest in it lol
Me: “I passed a test”
My lowest test score was a 43. That failure changed my life! It was in organic chemistry. I was majoring in Biology at the time and was in the pre med program in college. Decided then and there that perhaps being a doctor like my dad was not my destiny. I switched to majoring in physics, something I loved and went on to have an awesome career as an engineer. That failure was the best thing ever for me!
Martin Boyd I got a 53 on my first ochem exam and I know for a fact that I’m meant to be a doctor. It’s the worst. It’s hard for me to be motivated in the class because I work with a lot of physicians and they all say they don’t even use organic chem in medical school. But I know I need to pass it to get in. My next exam is tomorrow and I know I am going to pass it!
@Lia W Did you?
Lia W did you pass the exam?
Wow. My lowest score was an 8😕😕 in physics…
Samsonite…I was way off
Yes, Nancy, you studied colors and got a test on shapes. It happens.
Funny how I just got destroyed by my Cal 3 test today and was contemplating life decisions and this video pops up. Weird.
leaving at 15 to work, why bother , : )
I was able to get 36% in mid AFTER watching your videos on calculus- I got an exam tomorrow too. lol I’m gonna FAIL XD
Γειά σου Νάνσυ, να κεράσω ποτό;
Have you failed a class?
I got a .02% BAC at a DUI checkpoint. Low scores can be good.
Low score, but you passed 🤔🤔
@Erik AwwadThat’s a good pass but I would have had more and got the bus.
Nice
Years ago, I got one and it was .169.
You’re so beautiful and your method of teaching is great.
id rather fail a test than to cheat
I accidentally skipped an Econ midterm last week.
Nancy: I’m 67, and I don’t know how old you are, but it’s a safe bet you’re well under 40. So your life didn’t begin until the advent of trickle-down economics. Don’t worry, economics hasn’t made any sense since they started supply-side (what trickle-down economics is called when Republicans do it) and neoliberal (when Democrats do it) policies. It doesn’t matter what trickle-down economics is called, it just results in lost manufacturing jobs, widespread income inequality, more environmental pollution and mortgage foreclosures. It just doesn’t work and makes no sense. My friend, who I can also imagine was also very bright when she was in college, was born in Poland and live under Communism until she was 30. She, too, failed her class in socialist economics as practiced that side of the Iron Curtain, because it didn’t work or made any sense, either. Her professor advised her not to try to make sense of it, just memorize the text and give the answers accordingly. Now that seems to be what is expected of young, bright peons in the West, too.
I once got a 56 on my first exam but then I studied my butt of and got a 120 on my second and eventually finished with an A in the course. It’s important to not become discouraged, take it as a lesson and move forward! 🙂
i needed to hear this right now. calc 2 is killing me and its the last class i need to graduate college.
Woo nancy
Nancy is so awesome, I’ve been watching her videos since highschool basically and now it feels like she’s a friend of mine giving me advice. BEST TEACHER ON THE INTERNET!
Never failed a test till Calculus 3. Never. Got a 0. I was crushed. Still passed the class. Very rough.
How dare them dislike this video
I got a D on my first calc 3 test while majority of the class got an A. I felt the same way you did. I continued to work my ass off, got 100% on the final and got an A on the class. Moral of the story, don’t give up.
Thanks! I felt so inspired after reading this.
Low key you cheated lol
I see you David
David Mejia The class average of the test was over 90%? The class average on the test I just took in Calc 1 was 68% and I’ve never seen an average in the 90s in any of my previous math classes. I assume the further you go in math the smarter and better the students become because the lazy students get weeded out.
@MushroomKingDom722 Most certainly did not!
Econ was my lowest class too! Those concepts just don’t make sense to me, I need equations. Black and white lol
Quick note: sometimes, the stress involved in getting a good grade is worse than the effects of getting a bad grade.
Just something to think about.
I am so very glad, that you has shared this personal part of your life with us. I had a water company management position thrown on top of me and I ended up not only chief CEO, but had to study for and take the state certified water operator’s license test. There was a small book I studied from. But anyway on the first test, I failed it. I went back and studied all over again and the second time I took the boards, I had to calculate water flow, from what I think was an 18 inch pipe at so many estimated gallons per second. I referred to the math I already had in my head, but visualized the flow rate, plus looking at sections of water in that pipe, as if they were cans of jellied cranberry flowing through the pipe. I kind of timed this and then came up with the right answer. I think that it’s good to show fallibility, lets us all know that your’e are in fact human and not a super-clone of some kind. I am on a Korean math teacher’s teaching now on the Tube. Lady is really good, fast but very very clear. Luv to you Nancy and yours xo
LOL i got a 39 in my proofs class today and had the same thoughts.
Nancy got more beautiful, I m shocked!
Smart and gorgeous! She seems so sweet 🙂
@cw guy Wife material😍
Nancy needs to call me
Nancy call me
Mark W bruh
You can’t fail a test if you refuse to be tested.
@Ocean Blueit’s a joke.
mindblown
yes you can lol, you get a 0.
Well you can’t pass it either
Fluffy Massacre 😂😂
Está bueno.
Ponlo en español…
Please put it on Spanish
She is hot as hell
Your outfit is adorable!! 💜
I’m in love with you Nancy
i love how honest and straight-forward you were about it! for me, math was never an issue. even when it got complicated and scared me, i learned how to speak the language to work through it. however, english and history have always been the worst for me. especially english. i hate doing essays or anything pertaining to it, and even in elementary, my mom even thought i was dyslexic because i was just lacking so hard in it. strangely enough, i do understand/know how to use a lot of ‘complicated’ words, i just don’t like writing things out or really know how to get a point across in an essay. i just learned enough to read/understand how to do math. with history, it’s just simply not an interesting topic for me.
Just in time for midterms….lol
36%Impossible!.has to have been a glitch in the system. I loved the vid♡
You failed at economics? That’s like failing at failing. There is a profound discrepancy between what the word economics originally meant and what it means today. How do you… economize in a perpetual consumption based system? If you start economizing in capitalism, the whole system crashes. You have to throw away things and buy new ones. You have to love the planned obsolescence (you know, when something fails just when the warranty expires, or when they tell you it’s cheaper to buy a new one instead of fixing it – because they’re not really fixing anything, they’re replacing parts behind the scenes). In capitalism products are designed to fail after “a while” in order to keep cyclical consumption going.

After high school I enlisted in the Marines. THEN I went to college. My chemistry class very quickly woke me up to the realization that I was completely unprepared. I failed the semester. But like Nancy says, it wasn’t my forever grade. It wasn’t the end of the world. I took the course again, passed it and eventually graduated with a BS. Then I went on to get an MS. You might stumble on your journey, but don’t give up. Stay the course. Good luck!
wow nancy you r backkkkk
I love you Nancy !
I was a failure in math until I met Nancy.
Why can’t my teachers be more like Nancy
Nancy too much light reflects on you. You should use less lights.
Nicely done Nancy.
3:15-3:30 what Nancy said here is the key part of this video. Many instructors do not understand this. Your teacher could know that you can, in fact answer those questions right if you were just doing it as a homework or class work but test could mess people up, certainly does mess with my brain. I’m more focused on answering difficult questions and so I sometimes make careless errors on the simplest questions. TEACHERS HAVE TO LEARN TO GRADE BETTER!
You failed ’cause you wanted to, just to make everyone else feel better. 🤣😆😂
just at the right time…thank you Nancy
I got 34 in my first calculus 1 exam. Second exam is in few weeks.
Nancy is so beautiful!
Nancy I like your all over video and u are very beautiful
I feel this is every student in every economics class 😂.
I LOVE YOU NANCY
Nancy mke a vid on defferential equations and 3d vectors plzz😢
hey! can you like do some videos on statistics, please. 🙂
NANCY IS PERFECT!
I love your accent ♥️
Damn I just can take attention over your classes you are a goddess my math Angel
Fake
Nancy, stop being so fucking adorable. I”m sick of it. And how is your skin even BETTER in this video than previous ones?
I’m a Filipino and you’ve got me inspired the way you explain I clearly understood it ..every time I opened my pdf calculus I also watching your video tutorials on my download lists ….and your so beautiful also haha God bless to YOU

Hey Nancy!!
Can you review a joint entrance exam paper sometimes
Ello Nancypi I thought you forgot about youtube lol tbh I dont care if I fail I just aknowledge it and move on
I Luved this video and your wonderful message 😀 . Can I just take you on a date 🙈
You are great Nancy. Thanks for this video
I m here to see you only
You have not considered that the test failed you. The questions could have been flawed and don’t represent the domain of content accurately. If it was not longer than 50 questions there is a lot of error of measurement. The test should be just mastery or non-mastery and not give a poorly constructed measurement scale. Consider other factors that might effect test scores. The science of testing is called psychometrics. The application of statistical theories to mental test scores.
Sometime the exam isn’t what you expected and you panic. I’ve been there and yes I also failed, but I always remember that time. Today I step back and take a deep breath and remind myself I studied this stuff I know it. Thanks Nancy we have all been there.
I remember going into Calculus 101 midterm exam and getting 15 when I thought I’d be getting at least 75
then going into the final I lowered my expectations and thought I’d get 45 or something.
I GOT 5.
Nancy thanks
This helps. Can you send out a call for high profile people to share?
Please marry me, Nancy!
If you’re not failing from time to time, you’re not working to your full potential.
Not pushing yourself at least
there r loads types of math genre as in econimics there another type critiria of math but it fdoesnt mean u r bad at math because u didnt precise what type of math u had on the test.
Thanks for sharing this; failing a test can certainly do a job on your mind.
I just Failed my Dynamics test yesterday.. haven’t gotten the results yet but I know I failed. I am mad at myself but also my teacher because the test was a bit unfair. However, there is nothing I can do but move on and try again because the real failure is giving up
Justin Mgtow just took my second dynamics midterm yesterday.. I’m feelin like we’re in the same boat
Devon M bro there is just so much material. We got this tho!
WHY DO YOU WRITE ON THAT SILLY GLASS BOARD?????
Nancy:
What is your job classification?
boyle matematık hocamız olduda bilgisayar muhendisligi mı kazanmadık, kazandık demek ki iş hoca da degilmiş
Burada ne işimiz var la slmsksks
oof just failed my calc midterm
Don’t worry! Failure isn’t real!
I feel very confused as to why this was reccomend to me … I literally just failed my math test … how does YouTube know HOW salt in an open wound
Nancy thanks for sharing.
I am an older person who just started school in january. I got a 82.5% on a math test and went through the same thing you did. I got a 95% on the final. I focused on learning the skills rather than chasing the grade….
nancy ure telling me u got 36% in eco and im guessing almost 100 in maths well guss what i got nearly 100 in eco and 36% in maths (lol jk)
)
I’ve got 88.5/100 and 9/100 for a math exam
Thank you
I’m not sure I ever PASSED a math test.
I don’t care if you failed the class. You always helped me in Mathematics. Also, you are very very intelligent, beautiful and caring. I wish you would be single for me. 🙂
Anyone else shocked at her beauty?
Funny story, I got a test back once that had a 25% on it. Turns out I got a 100% and the GSA that graded it just forgot to grade pages 2-4.
there is an easy way to write backwards! it’s to write normal and edit the video 😀
Thanks for sharing, Nancy.
You should of watched that NancyPi channel you definitely would of passed then.
Who studies anyways? I cheat and pass 😂
i’ll heed your warning. It’s midnight and i’ve started to study again! 🙂
I understand exactly what you mean, I love maths a lot (probably not as much as you), but similarly failed both of my economics mock exams…. I’m not very good at econ either by the looks of it😅
Nancy, how much time did you spend studying each day during high school & college?
Nancy, you’re name ought to have been “diamond” because you are a rare jewel.
Thank you very much your videos are so helpful and not boring like others there amazing
The first college class I got a C in was a Macro Economics class. Until very recently, it was the hardest class I had taken. I failed almost every test, and the only reason I passed was the generous amount of extra credit given. This class was such a surprise mainly because economics is supposed to be an “easy” class, one you take in high school for college credit. I took it in community college, while getting easy As in calculus 3 and differential equations. I always like to tell people about it, because it helps to understand that you are not dumb for doing poorly in a class, but that it is usually a combination of many different factors in that particular phase of your life.
same
Can you please do a video on how to do Proving the identity problems in add maths
2:10 ,3:34 sweet 🙂
I studied for more than 6 hours for physics i still failed but im not surprised
Thanks Nancy! You’re great. Keep up the videos 🙂 Can you do differential equations?
The feels, I understand Nancy
You still a good math teacher no matter what. Your method is highly recommended.
Hey girl thanks for sharing your story you are really an inspiration to me.
I have 12 weeks until my final A Level maths exams and I feel like I am failing mechanics. F=muR 😢
how did it go?
I feel this so much lol. Thank you for this!
Peggy Fleming, U.S. women’s figure skating champ used to give a talk about the time she almost fell down. This reminded me of that.
I think u need to wear top like this one more often
Wholesome content lol
we all know if Nancy got a 36 that was at least the class average on that test lmao
Don’t let stupid numbers on a corrupt academic exam control you
Ive been familiar with that feeling couple times!!😅
can you do a video on second derivatives?
I love you and thats it
Nancy is math bae 😂
I made a 99% on my calc test watching your videos!
Cool. I bet your English skills are terrible though.
Gah shes gorgeous!!😍😍
hi Nancy you you have really made feel better about myself, I was about to quit calculus 2
Calc 2 is kicking my butt. I think I just need to practice more diverse integrals.
I failed my first term test in high school, then it was 90% and above for the rest
I failed linear algebra for 3 semesters and my advisor told me I will probably keep doing it for life⚰️
Shit is painful you feel me⁉️
Tell that teacher I said fuck you! And know that you are capable of so much more
@Aubrey Munetsi Failing it 3 times is not a teacher issue lmao
I got a 32% on a poli sci test. My anger lead me to destroy my dorm room. I flipped an iron bunk bed after which I needed help to reposition because my roid rage had subsided.
I love you I’m waiting for more math help
where do u work?
Cool, let’s learn MATHS!
I like this format of vids. Its like getting to know your teacher outside of class.
how many are here for education?
I got a 33/100 on my college economics final too, gosh i can’t believe i still managed to pass that class.
Wow, Nancy. I just got a fu****g 5/55 on my Business Statistics test (my worst score ever), and here you are bragging about your 36% I’d kill for that right now. 🙁 Love your videos! Hate my teacher! At least, I got an A on all of my economics tests.
Everyone fails once in a while. It’s not an embarassment, its a motivational realization.
economics is where it all started for all of us, eh?
thanks though, this is just what i needed right now
How can a girl who looks like that get a failing grade?
GOD Nancy why do you always have to bring up your good at math. SEESH we get it. You invented PI. OKAY. Jk, great videos you’ve helped a tonne with my relearning of many math concepts. Thanks for the great videos and the great explanations
I failed calculus twice. I’m taking it a third time hopefully I pass
Me tooo….I dropped it the first time lol
I never failed any test because I would get C in every class 😎 getting straight C’s makes me feel happier than A’s because risk is more fun for me ✌🏻
I LOVE YOU
Everyone fails, that’s not avoidable. So when we do ypu really just need to figure out why and most of it just comes down to proper exposure to the proper material. And please don’t conflate intelligence with your grades! Systematic information regurgitation isn’t exactly intelligence so definitely don’t feel bad.
does that mean i won’t be Engineer any more if my gpa is only 2.5 🙁 i failed 2 times but on the 3rd try i passed lol. I’m asking should i pursue Engineering with my gpa being low but i mean if i keep failing classes but if i pass on the 3rd to the 10th try i’ll eventually get there right? hmmm… advice?
damn nancy…..i like youuuuu
I like your outfit nancy😋
I honestly think that no one can teach economics in school. I got a 50 on my midterm after the curve lol. I don’t even want to know what I got before the curve 😂
Yea I really feel the one where the teacher puts questions on a test that weren’t in any of the homework. I had never really experienced it until my last year of high school where I really needed good marks to get into Uni, and this one semester was my worst semester for math ever. I got an 82 as my final mark which was my worst out of all my 4 years in high school and that was really bad because I thought I wouldn’t get into my university of choice with a mark like that. Luckily my other marks were good enough that I got in anyway but it was frustrating and annoying
Calc 2 is kicking my arse and this is kinda good to hear
r u a mathematician?
Fuad Phenomenon She Absolutely is!
Can you make a video about MIT and your critics about their education system?
Nancy what college did you go to?
this is perfect timing considering i got a 44 on the related rates quiz in my ap calc ab class and i have a test tomorrow on optimization, first/second derivative tests, and l’hôpital’s rule that i’m gonna fail too
Low test because I’m winning the Olympic level economic competition against regional universities playa .
Nancy 35% is minimum pass % in India
‘splains a lot, if true.
@main mast it’s true
Coming from Arteaga class 👍🏼
Thank you Nancy!
my brother is so mathematically smart that i thought i was dumb.
She’s pretty 😍😍😍🤤🤤
Could you make a video about how you got admission in MIT ?
Hi Nancy! Could you please make a video about separable differential equations, or exponential growth and decay please? thanks!
-A struggling calc student
i need help laplace tranform for calculus. lol
This is where Im at with integrals, we just took our midterm, I scored a 40%, mostly because we had an hour and a half to get through 11 questions, and it took me so long to identify which methods to use that I only got through 6 of the questions. The class average was 51%, there is no grade curve, there is no graded homework, extra credit or any method of improving your grade (the grade is a pure average of the 3 tests over the semester). I am feeling discouraged quite frankly. My major is a math and physics heavy major and I am feeling like maybe I dont have the brains to get through this.
This video appeared on my feed the day before I started studying for my first calc test….it was foreshadowing my future.
NancyPi, this is not correlated with this video, but you should think about making videos on advanced topics such as set theory
Happy pi day .
No one likes to fail. Whether it’s at work, at home, or in another area of your life, failure is painful – and it can also be costly in terms of time, money, or both.
But failure is a normal part of life. If you never, ever suffer a failure, then you’re probably not pushing yourself to your full potential. Often, it’s only through failure that we eventually meet with success.
Here’s how to pick yourself up after you’ve failed:
Limit the Damage Caused
Once you realize you’ve failed, you need to take steps to limit the damage caused by that failure. That could mean:
You sell off that gym equipment that you’re never going to get round to using
You step down from that position that you should never have taken in the first place
You apologize to someone who you hurt by saying something thoughtless or unkind
Whatever the situation, being proactive is always going to be a better option than sticking your head in the sand and wishing it had never happened.
Remember that Other People Fail Too
Most people don’t talk openly about their failures. They’ll tell you about that great new contract they signed … not that deal they worked on for months, only to have it slip through their fingers.
But failure is normal, and lots of people fail time and time again before meeting with success. Here are a few quotes that might help you to remember that:
“Edison failed 10, 000 times before he made the electric light. Do not be discouraged if you fail a few times.”
– Napoleon Hill
“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
– Michael Jordan
“I was set free because my greatest fear had been realized, and I still had a daughter who I adored, and I had an old typewriter and a big idea. And so rock bottom became a solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life.”
– J.K. Rowling
Remind Yourself of Your Past Successes…
Failing doesn’t mean that you’re worthless, or that you’ll never achieve the things you want. Think of all the times in the past when you’ve succeeded.
Maybe you got a promotion that you worked for last year, or you had a great GPA in college, or you lost weight, or you learned to play a musical instrument. You might want to write down a list of successes – things that you’ve accomplished over the past few years, whether big or small. If you ever lack confidence, you can go back and read over that list.
…And Your Past Failures
Your past successes are important … but so are your past failures. You’ve made mistakes before, and you’ve survived them. Perhaps you did badly in an exam, or screwed something up at work, or lost your temper and had to apologize.
It’s not fun to think about the times when things went wrong, but by acknowledging your failures, you can remind yourself that today is no different. Just as you recovered in the past, you can recover from your recent failure too.
Make a Decision
Whatever went wrong, you’re probably facing some sort of decision – even once the initial consequences are over. For instance, perhaps you took out a credit card and ended up in debt. You’re facing two choices: keep using the card, or make it inaccessible in some way.
Don’t rush into making hasty decisions – but do look for a forward path. That might require some deep thinking. You can help yourself by:
Getting some extra advice and support with a particular area of your life, perhaps from a professional like a doctor, personal trainer, life coach, or counselor.
Reading and learning more, if a lack of knowledge led to your failure.
Talking through your options with a loved one or close friend, or writing in a journal about the decision(s) that you face.
“Doing nothing” is certainly an option … but it’s a decision in itself, and often one that won’t lead to anything positive.
Whatever failure you’re struggling with right now, you can learn from it, and move on.
Excellent comment.
Every fail is a step to success, thats why i am a failure…
I love you ;)-
Happy PI day Nancy.
Love &+€ = Beautiful
I + A+M + L +o+v+e= i am in Love
You are so awesome!!!
Thank you!!!
HAPPY PI day!
Thank you for making this kind of video. It helped me and a lot of other people out I am sure.
was it a pregNANCY test ?
We have two PhD’s from MIT and Caltech teaching at my University. They all very candidly admitted that they failed classes and retook them but they all say this…”Look at me now. See…failing a class really doesn’t dictate your overall success.” To put things in a different perspective, think of it like running a business. You lose money in come investments but you gain in others. Those losses won’t necessarily dictate your overall wealth; the average does. In other words, don’t dwell on losing, focus on final point on your journey.
Guess what really it’s a great video
Please do more calculus + upper level calculus videos! Love your videos, you teach me more than my professors do!!!!
Beautiful
What’s the horizontal asymptote of 2^x? Ur video on asymptotes only describes how to find them when its an x term over an x term.
Pro tip: Type into google “desmos graphing calculator” and type in the equation to the bar on the left OR google “symbolab” and type in “asymptotes 2^x”. You can do so many things with these two websites and they helped me immensely with calc homework last year (it’s amazing to check if your answers are right, obviously horrible for steps etc.) But don’t use them as a crutch or you’ll do bad on exams.
Here in switzerland the highschool is divided in two. The best 20% go into a different school and have to go until they are 18 years old and the other 80% only have to go to school until 15, but they are not allowed to go to university. So basically its fucking hard to stay in the top of the class when you aready are in the top 20%. I am second in my class with about an 90% average (we are 20) and I fail like 5 tests per semester so you get used to it.
Hi Nancy, Huh! You look more gorgeous. Love ya!
I can’t believe you failed a test Nancy. You are pretty much a genius.
Nancy, please don’t take Keynesian economics. Stick to classical or Austrian economics. Keynesian economics is what’s being pushed these days. It’s hard to find a Classical Economics course, but it’s worth the look.
Can you tutor me for APcalc please 😭 I’m dying
Great positive message Nancy ^_^ thank you!!!
Nancy from weeds
Just failed calc 2 test on volume.
Whats your education background??
I failed the course lol
Please make more video’s , I will have Linear Algebra next term. and your video’s made me pass my calculus test ! Lot’s of love from Amsterdam xox
I think sometimes more than failing, the idea of not reaching your desired score, even if you do well, is a far more devastating feeling because it means despite your hard work it wasn’t good enough.
I needed this, thank you
Great statement of reflection. I get stammered by math many times in trying to be a self taught Sidefx.com Houdini effects artist. Houdini is ALL about the math. Check out some of my videos on my channel and you can see how math can be fun. What Nancy provides can be a life saver when you get stuck and your brain refuses to “see” the flow of numbers that provide answers. Thanks Nancy!
Hey love your videos. They have been extremely helpful. I hope you will make a video on optimization for calculus
Economics final coming up soon… :/
In this country, we are rated horribly in math.
One of the reasons is Bad Teachers. I had a few that actually took the time to help me achieve,
While the others had the I Don’t Care Attitude.
very cute mam
Thank you for Sharing Nancy.
I once passed a test 😀
😆😆😝😝😝👍
I don’t even study math. I am here because you are a ten, and it’s enjoyable to watch a perfect woman pretty much do anything. Please make more non-math videos. This is unfair
I have a question, are you hating shortcuts?
WAIT……YOU CAN SKIP HIGH SCHOOL
Please do video on integration by substitution except trigno part
I love these kind of videos Nancy!! 🙂
I once failed my precalculus 12 test with a 45%. The highest grade in the class was 72%.
Since we had 5 unit tests, the curriculum required that we have 4 unit tests.
My lowest test mark was scratch off the grade book ☺️
Hi nancy can you make videos on multiple integrals pretty please 🙏 Love lots from the Philippines
I wish I had this mentality in high school 😪
In Calc 1 (which at this this point in time was last semester for me) I was struggling in the class because I just could not understand it. When exams rolled around, I was scoring with 60’s and it got to the point where I was contemplating on whether or not I should drop the class. I decided to keep going and work my ass off for the final third in the semester. When the final exam came, I was one of the few people that actually scored an ‘A’ (93 to be exact) between all the students taking Calc 1 that semester. In the end, I brought my grade up from a 67 to an 81 so I was definitely pleased. As a current Calc 2 student, I just scored a 98/100 on the integral exam so If any of you are struggling, I hope you read this and gain some inspiration to work hard and finish successful.
I Fail Pre-Calc Twice And Statistics Once. I Graduated From The University And I Have Been Doing Math Ever Since. I Remember You From Years Back When The Unit Circle Was The Biggest Mystery Ever.
Nancy why the fuck you so hot and so good at explaining math, like you distract me and teach me hahaha please let me dm on insta #yesiknowimthirsty but you know why.
hahahahaha #thirsty😂😂😂
You made a good point in when you said basically “What was on the exam was not in the homework or the review.” Why is that? The instructor purposely and knowingly puts question that you have no idea about and had not covered. It’s like where did this come from? WHY do they do this???!!
Formula should be the same lol
The akwards moment when you fail a test by 1 point fml.
100% in math I’m from iraq
Can you start a few advanced topics like Probability, Multi-Variate Calculus, etc. ? It would be really helpful.
@NancyPi do a video on t-tests
Hi Nancy! You are proof that both intelligence and beauty can go together. I hope things are going really well for you.
I know how you feel! Usually if you’re good at numbers you’re bad at literature heavy tasks. I was a chem E before I went back to school for nursing (Chem E just wasn’t what I thought it was). I struggled through nursing school way more than engineering, the shear volume of reading you have to digest is insane and there were very few areas that exercised my strengths. Overall it was worth it, but damn I wish I had payed more attention to English lit in high school! Plus dealing with numbers is a lot easier than dealing with people, as they say, numbers don’t lie but people do!
first i love you i have 10 years old now i study calculus but there some things that i dont understand my math teacher dont understand me or they also they feel me that i am nothing i want you understand me and study math to me how i can call you please this is my last chance
F&%k your 36. I got 2 out of 100. Guess what? Next year I took advance mathematics too. Now I teach mathematical analysis in college. Having fun doing something is important. Everything else is secondary anyway. I still watch your videos, and sometimes learn something interesting.
Hey give me ….
Make a video on improper integrals !
Are we getting any more math videos anytime soon!!? 🤔😬
This girl is way too happy, I feel like she’s trying to seduce me with math why you always SMILING
LMFAO, economics tests are the death of all smart students
I totally feel you Nancy, I had really good scores for almost every subject and then…economics…happened. I got a 48%.
√Thanks
What is the importance of integration and derivative in real life??
Never seen someone good at math who is so beautiful 😍 if she was my teacher I would do my best
Please find this number: 1/(1*4)+1/(4*15)+1/(15*56)+…+1/(a*b)+1/(b*(4b-a))+…=?
hi! could you please do a video about circle theorems? it would be appreciated.
Mam please make video on continuity and differentiability
Oh no, jump cuts
Can you do a video on how to find tha range of equations ?? Please..
Please upload video for Vector Algebra for engineering maths
يعطيتس العافية يانانسي عجرم💙
NANCY!!!!!!
I love You mess.Your Studying amizing.😘😍
Who is Janelle from MATHBFF?
same situation here.
You explain things well, I am enjoying your videos. Any chance you could do some multivariable calculus? I am currently going through it at the moment and some of the concepts are difficult to grasp.
My first semester of college I had to drop out of college algebra and take intermediate algebra instead. Now (4 years later) I’m a few weeks away from graduating with a BS in mathematics. There have been many more failures along the way, but one thing I love about math is that it teaches me patience and perseverance. Anything can be accomplished with discipline and a positive mindset. Thanks for sharing your story!
Congrats
Good job. A little late in life for me. I woke up one day and wanted to be a math major. You’re almost there.👍
My teacher once wrote BS on my paper, but I think it was for another reason..
Same story. I almost failed Algebra and even asked my professor to drop me instead, I barely passed (Dropping means you didn’t attend the class, makes your Transcript better which means better chances for landing a job)
Now I’ve graduated and I’m a month away to for a Engineering Licensure Exam. Don’t ever give up and never overlook the impact you’ve made.
sheeeeiitt mirin brah
hey hope you made a video a limit use the L’ Hospital rule
thanks you
me: ok imma learn some math
Nancy: ok so the vertex of a parab…
My brain: oh she hot, keep watching, got a test tomorrow.
my genes: Fuck u your ADHD now have fun …oh wait whats that.
Economics is weird. Something like this happened to me, where a girl who amazing at math struggled with the test focused more around business/economics, while I aced it with literally a small amount of studying. She could explain math but she couldn’t explain the concept. Sometimes overthinking becomes an issue, other times, people really don’t understand what they are learning, but coast because they learn a formula. That’s until they have to actually apply what they’ve learned.
venus go with
Intelligent + HOT = Perfect business model in 21C. Teach well and enjoy profits.
I have watch all your math videos, I showed them to my wife and she loves them as much as I do. You make every math concept a pleasure to understand, my oh my how I wish I had a skilled teacher in high school like you who could turn math a class I would want my school day to consist of.
honest, funny and still outta my league
Yeah just saying this women is hot I’m just saying guys😂
I love y
Omg you are so hot. I have a crush on you.
will u tell me what do u use for writing ?? i mean is it a mirror?
I want to see the test you failed. can anyone pass it?
Hey Nancy, can you do a video on curves? cool shapes, roses, limacons, gear curves, Cardioids, conchiods, etc?
nancy lets start over i got to taylor serries in cacl 2 and they said go back to algerbra 1
Please make next video on how to solve cubic equarions
Sweet angel 😇
Nancy you like fran from stargate atlantis
I’m still angry with my high school Trig teacher. He gave us two weeks to memorize 35 trigonometric identities and their proofs. A few people with amazing memories passed but I only got 33% in spite of studying as hard as I could. As a result I had to waste a semester taking a review pre-calc class my first semester in college that didn’t teach me anything I didn’t already know, before I could take calculus. What was the point? On every other math test I’ve ever taken, I was asked to solve problems, not memorize stuff. I never did learn any but the first few identities. Now I carry with me a sheet with the trigonometric identities printed on them. I also have one with the most common integrals.
He was trying to teach you with tough love. He never asked for memorization out of you. He wanted you to learn the process of deriving trig identities. Identity proofs are some of the easiest proofs in mathematics. Even if you were required to give justification it would just be algebra rules + other trig identities. You would be surprised how many identities you can get from the “first few identities”.
A true nightmare would be memorizing the 100 or so theorems and their proofs in high school geometry, all of which are very different. Or how about memorizing the 30 or so theorems in calculus and their much much harder proofs!
Need help with liberal math
Thx u helped me a lot i feel good now🙂
I just subscribed to your channel. I feel the need to find out where are you at this point. Hope everything is going well, and did you retake that test?
Nancy has a Crest smile…..😁
I had never taken Algebra in school, I was a dropped out. My first Algebra class I flunked it. Retake the class and I pass with a D. The 2nd Algebra class I passed with an A. Of course I did a lot of research online looking for answers and how to get better at my class. I found Nancy back then, her class on explaining and solving Math problems help me a lot. Thanks Nancy.
When your hallucinogens actually work!
I.. .. I wish the majority of women were more like you Nancy 😀 gr8 content btw
Are You Married Nancy?
I like your way of teaching❤❤…
I love you Nancy!
I don’t like to study so failure is A-ok with me!
How often do you upload?
so i like i had my biology igcse today, and it was like sorta hard – sorta easy. but i feel like i fucked up coz i messed up 3 questions worth, each of 3,4 marks. im like fucking pissed. any help here to like cheer me up?
Pls do more
Could you do a video on finding roots (real and complex) when you get a chance?
Gorgeous Lady !!!
Nancy please do Calc III topics. 🙂
i love you !
I want to marry you
hey could you do comparisons (sorry don’t know the math name in eng not my home language) with fractions if you have please link it
edit: grammar
Ok I think that she’d be such a great YouTuber away from math cuz shes most definitely helped me in math like math isn’t so difficult for me I understand it very quickly but like she helps for those concepts I’m just learning
You see when I think I did good on a test I do pretty bad on it, and when I think I did bad on a test I do better.
Last year I failed the first test ever , I went straight to anger and dropped the class. I think I was more embarrassed but it just came out as anger.
It was a computer hardware class. I’m better at coding than the nitty gritty insides.
Thanks for the encouragement , I will sign up for the class again in the fall.
Of course she didn’t fail a math class.
Nancy nancy I need you I am the boy that send to you comment please talk to me on whats
Classic thanks for sharing! Been there.. recently doh!!!
Awesome
This isn’t inspiring .. because of she failed a test then what will happen to me
you choose what will happen to you, unless you studied and you failed then idk
I just took a business Ed test and I did not know a thing about it haven’t got my result back but I know I am level 2 I’m supposed to be level 3 almost 4 can’t wait
I searched YouTube for the equation “8,49/3 = x” and found your channel.
Please explain.
Unlike you, instead of barely passing the next test, I failed that one too. My tests went from %90 to %52 to %43. :”””””””””””””””””'(
Edit: You’re the only reason i’m currently improving because my maths teacher explains year 10 concepts like I’m in year 12. Thank you
wow, everyone is not perfect… I too have failed in a test in my life.
I failed an economics test too
I literally have a math final tomorrow. This is trying to tell me something oh no
You so cute 😭❤️
What a babe
Haiii dio mioo why u so preety. 😍😍😍 Y fidnt u say i love u To teacher…….. He could give u 102%😂😂😂😂😂
Nancy where are you? How you been? and Where have you been? We need you to come back……..
You make writing numbers and speaking them out sexy like Jessica Alba. Please make a video about correlation and linear regression next time.
When are you going to be making more trigonometry videos
Is nanci a robot?
Please keep making videos, you are the best
Hi Nancy
i want to marry you. Do you agree ? i am seriouse.
Love u from India 😉😉😉
Make videos on probability
Nancy please make a video about Series
I have my calc final tomorrow. Wish me luck.
I love you dearly
How about you assume A÷0 = NOT A where A is a Set unrelated to NOT A except at Superposition and go back and look at maths in light of an answer for A divided by zero.
If I had teachers as hot and smart as you I would not of dropped out !!!
never give up .. you r smart 👍👍👍👍
hmm, its been while since u have posted any videos. r u takin a break?
(:
How U draw on camera ehehe?
And here i am just looking to solve one problem so my sheet is not empty and then i can negotiate my way to passing
Can u please make more videos on trigonometry advance version
Hi nancy! i m a big fan of the channel. here is my story. i was horrible with maths back in school. i used to get an f all the time! but i really want to learn maths but i don’t understand the symbols and jargons. please help!
She looks like Megan Fox
Your Smile is just Ahh
Hey Nancy I need your help please, could you make discrete math tutorials I am about to fail I am dealing with computer science. I am gabbing your help please.
You teach really good … please make more videos
So sexy and hot.
Are u also teaching maths of science stream like calculus ,etc
Do you know if you are my school in high school you will get the Nobel prize
in math Thank you for the videos are beautiful like your face I hope you continue
I’m following you from Iraq
Oh boy, it’s my time to shine. In college when I was taking calculus 3, on the first exam I got an whooping 37% and I was the person who got the lowest score. Over the entire semester I worked my ass off and got an overall grade of 82%. But when I got that exam back my head was feeling empty, my ears felt like that they were on fire, and I was ready to drop the course. I owe most of my success to YouTube and various channels such this one, Professor Leonard, PatrickJMT, Michel Van Bizen, and many smaller channels out there. Anything is possible if you truly take the time to learn it.
Somos humanos e falhamos. O importante é seguir em frente e ter coragem para fazer melhor numa próxima oportunidade. Na verdade , não há outra alternativa além de seguir em frente. Que seja com propósito, não é?
Hey Nancy, could you do a video on Fourier Transform and/or Laplace transform? Thanks.
Wow! I’m not alone. I’m an Engineer and I also failed Economics. Its the most illogical subject there is! I barely squeaked by the second time as well. Don’t ask me for advice about anything to do about Economics.
It is not illogical, it is just highly theoretical and not practical.
Where are the new videos Nancy!!!! how am I going to study quantum physics without your math tricks!?!?!?!?!?!?
I love your writing trick. Slightly demanding but the final effect is worth it. I am from the East Coast (but of Ireland) as well as I love pasta – let’s be friends.
I wouldn’t worry about it.
Math is not going anywhere.
You got it, just take classes as you can. Move ahead w/ it as you can read ahead.
It’s not a problem, the time constraints can weigh on a student.
Everything is available to learn right now without college.
I’m studying ,differential geometry and lie algebra right now. 2nd hand books are cheap and youtube has great tutorials. Learn it before you take the class.
You’ll be fine.
Good to keep in mind, thanks Nancy!
Nancy, you are very pretty and smart. You are what I need. Do you want to be my wife?
genius and beautiful
Hi Nancy. I enjoy you videos, thanks for taking the time to record them. I wonder whether you might consider doing a video on recurrence relations, (a.k.a) difference equations?
How about a video on related rates?
I hate economy math and never wanted to learn that topics.
I’ve learned that most young people, even brilliant ones, don’t grasp economics well unless they grew up in environments where such principles were well understood, or are wired for that specific kind of intelligence. The concepts and reality of the patterns discovered from economic data usually run counter to mathematical intuition. And it’s simply because economic concepts require you to keep track of far more variables that change, interact and occur over long periods of time, whereas in Mathematics and Science we usually try to limit or control variables. Economics is closer to chaos theory.
High intelligence can work against you if you’re using reasoning to look at an incomplete picture since you basically get to the wrong conclusion more quickly. And your usual confidence in your intelligence doesn’t help either because you’re convinced that you can’t be wrong when your cognitive abilities serve you so well in math and science. So failing economics at first can be quite a shock for a smart student and can leave you quite confused.
Usually, bright people underestimate economics at first thinking it won’t pose a challenge to them and don’t do enough reading or studying in order to grasp economic concepts clearly.
It’s why young people and STEM people are generally drawn to liberal ideas or left wing ideology because to them those conclusions are sensible. But those conclusions don’t match with what data and reality typically reveal. Economic ideas drawn from reasoning are almost always wrong. The real functioning principles of economics were almost always discovered after centuries of data and then reverse engineered to understand why.
All the being said, you can read Basic Economics by Professor Thomas Sowell if you want a firm grasp of economic principles.
Why are you talking about your self in third person?
… and AOC has a degree in Econ, … that’ll get you thinking
My EE degree for me was like plying Dark Souls blindfolded. I struggled HARD but got through it eventually.
Economics is not math. I took an F in the course as an undergrad. It political. All based on lies.
Please do a video on how to calculate cube roots much needed help
Quadratic inequalities pls.? help!
U have unlocked the robotic version of urself😅
Nancy always in sleeveless dress 😅
Tell us how to get excellent marks in test. What were the problems you had to face during your examination and how did you cope with that in your college years?
have you stopped doing videos ??? please dont stop..i would love to see you explain more calculus and DE .. THANXS .. you can call me if you have a head ache 🙂
If we are succeeding all the time life would be very boring. My failures made me something good.
I got 60% overall and scored 30/70 in maths in my class 12 final exam. After choosing engineering,i scored 78% overall and 61 out of 70 in maths. Hard work always pays off.
I am a math expert.
1 and 1 is 2.
NANCY WHERE ARE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU……………………………………..
you are the perfect woman <3
I live in Ky and am thinking about improving carbon capture. I watched a documentary on PBS where the people at MIT said that no one could afford their solution. As it turns out, CO2 might directly support the natural occurrence of stratospheric ozone. Kind of why I’m learning math. As for you, it’d put you in a difficult position. If the science is too expensive, then who should make it affordable?
Hey, I hope you know you are a babe.
thank you for teaching us ( idiots ) math ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What school did Nancy go to?
Failed the Econ exam but passed the character exam
I like you.
when are you coming baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack
Nancy Pi. WELL. …
and this was the last time we saw Nancy….. she has disappeared to go save others across the world in the need of math. This Math warrior has not fallen but risen somewhere else . . . . . . . . . ummmmmm I need you for Calc part 2 the REMIX GIRRLLLLL ahahhahahaha
If I could impress 2 things upon students forced to math.
NEVER trust a practice exam. Period. Don’t do it.
At all. I don’t care how kind your professor is. The exam will be one of two things:
Extremely harder versions of the practice exam questions. So difficult that they won’t even seem like the same problem.
Or
They will add extra topics not even on the practice at all.
You will be better off going to the professor’s office each day of the week leading up to the exam and directly ask for examples of what will be covered on the test.
They’re paid to do this, so take advantage of what you pay for.
Don’t trust a practice final. Personally get the problems directly from the professor.
Think you so much, you helped me and I respect you. By the way I’m from Saudi Arabia
Can you make a video on FFT ?
So the answer is no. Nancy has never failed a MATH class.
I Like you.
Hi,Nancy pi ma’am plz make calculus full content videos
I’ve got this trick
She is using a glass and a white board Marker 😁😀😀
Super cool idea 👌 o
No one will like ..so I’ll my own😩😞
Found you cuz math teacher used one of your vids
Hello… Good job…. Please….!
Can I translate your channel content into Arabic
The moment you realize you are not paying attention to the subject NANCY is TEACHING but on NANCY herself……..when she has “FAILED” a test, well, at least she did not FAIL MY EXPECTATIONS !
who is the person that failed her, Im gonna kill ’em
this is the epitome of sad cringe.
Any reason you stopped making videos? Someone… Anyone… Bueller… 🙂
WIFE
she’s so beautiful, who can pay attention to the lessons?
Nancy we all know you got hired by NASA at the age of 15 but it’s cool I enjoy watching your videos!
I remember finding you on mathbff when I was taking cal1. I just finished diff eq and I wish you would’ve kept uploading regularly as your explanations are concise and extremely helpful. Please tackle more subjects so you can build a bigger following and help students throughout their journey instead of just the beginning.
I love you mam iam Frome INDIA
no more vids?
my gf failed a pregnancy test
Have a tutorial on tangent of an ellipse please
So you’re not a robot, well thank goodness. Thank you for this video.
Hi Nancy! I’m so sorry to hear about your econ test! I just made a stan account for you! Follow me @westneilvirus on instagram!
Lucky hairs …..
you r cute 💥💥💥😍
Can you solve a fraction in inequality in a level quadratics
missing you
Can you do discrete math?
Isnt it a bit odd that she hasn’t posted a video after this 1
how did u study for test?????
When I failed my first biology test in grade 8 i cried, but not it’s just second nature
thank you nancy
You failed because you wrote backwards.
nancy y arent u posting —-…..—–
_—-____(:
Please please please do ASMR! You’re voice is amazing!
please tech geometry
please make more videos on mathematics please iam requesting…. i love your way that you explain everything🙌🙌🙌👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌
aint economics subjective? so what.
Please make more videos
you rock, thanks for sharing
Nancy do linear algebra plsss
What a great Explanation!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with others. Sharing knowledge with others is priceless. I have even just created a youtube channel. I would love some support and feedback. So, Please hit subscribe and check it out.
Happy Teaching!!
Brilliant explanations on your channel…I just wish it was biochemistry! 😂
I’ve been in some science and math classes in college where 90% of the class failed a test, and I was in a Chemistry class where 70% failed that semester.
Why are you not uploading videos
Why aren’t you posting videos for so long?
Nancy, I homeschool my child and I love your approach to math. Math is fun and it comes through on your videos. I hope you will do more videos soon.
Could you do a video on vector spaces plzzz?
What happened to Nancy
thank you for sharing this story, it helped a lot! also your videos are great and are really helpful for the class I’m struggling in, please come back and make more, you’re awesome!
Your first mistake was applying logic to economics.
Being great at math is actually such an advantage since you can measure how much you need to pass. I remember getting a 31.5% once in Economics. I ended up passing the subject since I measured everything I needed to do
can you make a video explain the complex numbers, please
Ok check my new video it explains the quantity of quantum complex roots of binomial roots to the power of complex.
Hi Nancy, the people need to see, the very good exposition on Math you are doing. That´s what i apreciate a lot, thank you again from México
Nancy it’s a request ..that pls make continuous videos on different topics of maths….they are really helpful…
Why she is not uploading videos anymore 💔😢😢
was this the last video ?
“Blame the teacher”? All this time, I believe I was the only one thinking this.
I failed this test
Where are you? The million dollar question.
Nancy you are incredible you actually discribe what happened to me in physic class exactly even the questions you asked your self I did the same but I got my first test 7 out of 20 % so I hope that I pass the physic class with a grade that does not effect my total GPA
notice me Nancy!!
I wish nancy would come back and teach me how to do related rated 🙁
Your are so hot madam 👩👩😁😁
The only test I ever passed was a STD test.
If I had a teacher as pretty as you are, I’m sure I would never faile your test.
Why hav u stopped YouTube vidz
Why is there ain’t any new video mehh
you know what you need to stop being f*cking cute. im tired of being human and you keep reminding me :>{
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I took an hour exam for a class in thermodynamics. It had three problems, printed on three pages. I read the first problem and knew I didn’t know how to solve it so I flipped to the second page. I read the problem and knew I couldn’t do it either so I flipped to the last page. I read the problem and knew I couldn’t do it either. That took about five minutes. Then I sat and looked at the test for about 30 minutes without doing anything. Then in the last ten minutes of class I furiously tried to apply the Ideal Gas Law where it wasn’t valid. The problems all required interpolation from steam tables. The next day I went to my professor with a drop slip. Shrugs, shit happens.
“Economics is extremely useful as a form of employment for economists.” -John Kenneth Galbraith
Everyone talking here about how they just failed calculus while im still in high school geometry
Me too me too
If nancy got 36% the rest of the class have no hope
Hey, can you make videos with complex numbers. I am struggling with them and want to learn more.
mam what is your profession other than teaching math. i think you were the topper of the college . thanks .mam for making understandable videos on the calculs 1
I miss the akeward you
Looking at your vedios I’m wondering how many dollars you have spent on purchases of markers
Dear Nancy, Im 25, marry me goddamit,.. Plz 😂 idk why i find her so f***king gorgeous 🙁
You’d make a good South Park character.
I get nervous when I get 85% or lower. Even though that’s a perfectly good pass, I want to know I can do better.
Nancy, I beat you by 4 points on my last Pre-Calculus test in college. 40%. I put in the hours and study, and I don’t know half as much as you. LOL My brain went to mush when test time came. I do deal with test time anxiety. I have a wonderful professor, my notes are clear, and I do not miss class. Yes I’m frustrated, and always looking for other learning methods. If anyone has some advise I would love to hear it. I have issues with timed essays in writing class also, and I’m an “A” student.
she’s hot lmao
Yor are very good and helpful teacher.
Beautiful outfit Nancy
Why you changed your channel
I love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love you please marry me
Just when I had thought about asking you to teach some macroecon stuffs…ur logic flow is so good makes calculus much easier😆
You Failed a Test😱
No matter, look where are you now! Math Guruess 🤗 Have a very happy and Fulfilling Life in 2020 and beyond…… lots of love and Tons of Respect and Admiration.
Remember that when you fail a test, everyone is gonna ask what you got right after you see it
Don’t feel bad. I got a Z in a class in college.
I fail all the Time chill 5.5/20.0/20 6/20 all my recent math test I still chose math and science 4 next year
I hate you nancy😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡liar liar
Last video 3 months ago (:
2nd last video 10 months ago :
LOOKS like nancy got married
question for NacyPi: How do you write perfectly in reverse (i.e. we are seeing correct characters on a surface facing the camera, but you apparently are writing on a transparent surface facing you)? What is going on here? Yes brilliant math, but drawing/writing all these problems backwards… Especially the angles…. is awesome.
lol yeah Nancy is cool. I doubt she ever failed a test though. But I also have never failed a test. But it’s not because I am super smart. It’s because I studied my ass off before the test.
How would you study differently if you have failed a test? What would you have to change? That is part time work or full-time work aside.
I like your videos. Keep up the good work!
19%out of 100% and now I got a D and I’m so scared Asian parents struggle
Exactly what i’m going through rn
Youre hot..i luv wide shoulder
how to find range on functions? ??
llease
I got a 37/100 on Algebra.
Nancy, why not go into modeling like the smart girls, and make millions?
Who writ that : slop -5 ?
Git gud
I saw many of your videos. You must invite me for your field’s medal ceremony.
We’re literally polar opposites. Much better econ student than math student myself xD
Nancy plz come back
Nancy: I failed a test
Me: hahaha, so have I!
Real Me: I’ve failed 3 tests
You are doing imposter syndrome it’s bad take some chill
Nancy you’re hilarious and filled with useful knowledge!!! Subscribed!
Nancy make more videos like this!!!! plz 🙁
Watching this to prepare for the test im about to fail in 3 days time
In high school I got a 26% on the first test and was told to go to a lower math but I stayed and passed with almost an A
Economics are still in its infancy. think of medicine during the dark ages. when they would apply leeches to cure illnesses.
now replace the patient with the economy. and the leeches, are economic principles, like inflation, p/i indicators, stagflation, etc.
so basically, logic and reason won’t work in economics.
I used to get mad at a bad grade until I realized it only means you dont understand something
problem is the money
Learning costs money so there is pressure
Then I learned the trick of good grades in college and not waste the money
I took Calculus, Differential equations in college many years ago by the same instructor and did fairly well considering I’m not the sharpest math wiz. The same professor also taught my intro to statistics and I have to say it wasn’t his teaching abilities. Those concepts were tough to absorb compared to his previous classes.
I always liked his teaching methodology it just was that particular subject.
Managed to get a passing grade in the statistics class and move on. Thanks for sharing your experience.
i used to think about how u write backwards, once u said it was magic i figured it out. don’t worry i wont tell. just know that i know xD
tbh you are absolutely gorgeous beside the fact that you are smart as well
good god!!!!
I failed a test once. Which led to me failing the whole class. Which led to me dropping All my classes. And now I have no degree and feel like an idiot.
I got a Z in Delaware History, a mandatory class at the University of Delaware. Fs don’t scare me anymore.
I failed math twice in college. MY WHOLE HIGH SCHOOL CAREER I proclaimed how much I hated math. I failed my first math test and my first python test for entrance into my programming bootcamp…that was 6 years ago… I’ve now been working as a data scientist for 6 years now. so stick with it guys, it gets better.
Can you explain higher math subjects like simplex method LPP. There is no good videos out there.
My crush 😩💕
Nice video
She’s just the best..I love the way she makes maths look natural and beautiful. I wish I could hire her for my students
U Look alike white Megan Fox
I failed almost all of my math subjects. That’s why I enroll in engineering just to face my fear. Failure owns hidden success, just break it!
I entered my college chemistry classroom and most of the class was already there cramming. I knew then there was a test for which I didn’t study. Needless to say I didn’t do well. No problem. Just made it a point to pay closer attention to the syllabus for the rest of the year and I did very well.
I passed a test!!
I failed my Diff E final–46 out of possible 110 (10 pt bonus question). I had an 87 avg going into final. I stayed up late studying. Power went out for just over an hour. Yep, I was nearly an hour late for final. Some problems were not even read. Final was 25% of grade. Ended up with a “C” for course. I retook in Summer and got my “A”. It killed me to go to his office and see posted grades. Semper Fi
oooooopps , oh well
Nancy can , or does associative
distributive
and communitive rules apply directly to Etheric reality? i’m a layman at 99% of this but hoped you could shed some light , thanks ?
Can you teach me I am in another country I mean Tanzania please am in form two student we can’t go to school cause of corona or covid – 19
Lol when you got an 8 percent on one of your tests before. (I still have an a- though so we’re all good)
im watching this when im meant to be studying
the most complicated part is to figure out what you have to know in some specific situation.
that can be some big problem and sometimes requires more work than necessary .
Anyone find her voice sounds like Anna Kendrick?
i know am super late but to any one reading this i have failed multiple times and have been called an idiot i was not very book smart or a good student it took me lot of time to understand concepts and really feel confident with them but no teacher was patient enough or just didn’t have time and most of them tagged me as an absolute idiot i repeated my final year of school i came to believe that i was an absolute numb skull and had nothing to look for other than flipping burgers but in the process i lost all my shame and fear or learning i was already called all the names under the earth that i didn’t care any more i iam doing an associates degree in mathematics and iam doing pretty good for an idiot
through this process of failing i learned that its ok to not understand or learn a concept in the first go just dont be afraid to fail and try again plus thanks to all the people who upload educational content you can learn at your own convenience
So you are a real person!….. How you doing???
Ohh thanks i am from India
I done my best to learn magic squares from 20 onwards mostly anyway square root of two using pythagras theory putting 2 on n hypoteneuse yo find what shud be irrational number. My girl s maiden name waz Pell but none o them care. It came up this morning I tried to explain it. I watched something else u did sin cos tan. I flunked big time at school went to grammar so I knew how to be the best. All a fluke mostly. Peace.
You may have failed a _test_ once, but you sure haven’t failed as a _teacher_ Nancy! 😉 Thanks & thumbs up 👍
Fail is the most important thing in life, if you not fail you’ll never get better
I failed a math final (had a C) last semester and now I have a B!
I once thought I failed a test and got a 97%. It was not a satisfying feeling. It was cryptic.
I wish Nancy can help me solve why I’m not rich
Nancy is beautiful!!!
Your simply humble! I like you, most Of times i feel like you. I have a degree um management and procees to Mars, but i woundering what should i make, a anither degree (but in math) ir master degree,… i am married, have a beautiful 9 mounths daughter, working at the portugueses GNR(militarizada Police)
thanks a lot for the timestamps in the description!!
And also for the stuck phase: life stuff and family stuff, yeah, pretty … ahmm… whatever.
I am tardy, a year .. it is a good topic to cover.
Learned, we are, when studying without members of the class .. at least the same subject/
Study groups are important.
Never had senor itus .. school was to important … we have grade 13 in high school (different country), worked full time through high school and University .. Do not know how but it all worked out well, oh! I did not have social life, hhmmm, maybe that is why I never dated .. LOL. Too busy..
Like the content, and the channel, love data and algorithms. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
A teacher is always a student first.
There are sircumstances where it happens. No one is perfect.
Mam I got my concepts clear because of you.♥️
The emotional stages of failing a test is not unlike the 5 stages of grief and loss by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross in her 1969 book On Death and Dying: 1. Denial and isolation; 2. Anger; 3. Bargaining; 4. Depression; 5. Acceptance.
It’s not our fault, Teachers are not teaching in a proper way or they just don’t know about the understanding level of students. They are just in hurry for completing the syllabus. I’m from India, took Science stream with Mathematics in 11th. I’m currently facing an issue for not understanding the concept.
economics is a fake, made up math….
When I was a freshman in college a looong time ago in a galaxy far, far away I flunked my first physics class (mostly because my study skills sucked). I retook the class in the summer and got an “A” and liked the class so much I picked up a double major in Physics to go along with my Electrical Engineering degree 🤓. Failure provides opportunities for growth. All successful people fail, sometimes many times over. The difference is perseverance and determination and practice and grit
I remember in my second semester of college I was taking calc 2 and I couldn’t figure out the applications to physics chapter. I was so upset! I was working on those problems that were like, If you have a tank under water, how much work needs to be done to lift the tank to this height? I had to use gravity and density. Anyway, we got tested just on that chapter and it did not go well. I got a 38 out of 100. Luckily I was in a class where you had to pass 3 out of 4 tests, so I used that as my drop, but I cried when I got home. I passed the class though!

Lol
