Cylinder

A cylinder is a shape that consists of two plane faces (two circles) and a curved face. It also does not have any vertices.

Cone

A cone is a shape that consists of one plane face (one circle) and a curved face.

Pyramid

A pyramid is a shape in which the number of faces determines the shape of the base.

The shape of the base determines the type of pyramid.

Sphere

A sphere is a shape with no sides. A ball is a typical example of a sphere.
